Ambrosus (AMB) is undergoing a swap from ERC20 to Native AMB. Here are the instructions to get you through the process.
Update 13–11 Binance has completed the swap.
Which tokens to swap?
If you bought on Binance before the swap (13–11–2020) and then sent it to Trezor or Ledger without swapping, these still remain ERC-20 tokens. You may want to put them temporarily back on the Binance exchange in order to benefit from the automatic swap and then withdraw in native again.
If you still want to continue manually (the hard way) you can use this guide to manually do the swap via the bridge.
Update 01–12 The bridge is no longer available.
Which tokens do not require a swap?
AMB Tokens on Kucoin, Probit, P2PB2B and Binance are already swapped. For those you don’t need to do anything. Same goes up for tokens locked up in nodes and payouts rewards, those are all native tokens and do not require a swap.
Scam warning
There are scammers monitoring the TeleGram channels claiming to be Ambrosus official support. Never provide your private keys in private messages or enter them on Google Forms unless you want to loose your money to your great great uncle in Africa.
Step 1. Install MetaMask
To get started, you will need to download the MetaMask Web Browser on either Chrome or Firefox.
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/nkbihfbeogaeaoehlefnkodbefgpgknn
Step 2. Setup ERC-20 network on Metamask
Open the MetaMask plugin. If you have not used MetaMask before you need to create an account via create account. This account (address) you will later use to send the tokens from Binance to.

Open MetaMask, click on tokens tab and then click on “Add token”. Enter following data:
- Token contract address: 0x4dc3643dbc642b72c158e7f3d2ff232df61cb6ce
- Token symbol: AMB
- Decimals of precision: 18 Click “Add” and you will be able to see your ERC-20 Amber.

Step 3. Setup AMB-NET native network
Next, we need to set the native network.Click on network tab (top bar of MetaMask window, between logo and avatar icons). — then on drop-down menu, choose the last option (“Custom RPC”).

After selecting “Custom RPC”, on the popup window, we need to set the network URL address (New RPC URL) option and enter the following RPC hosts depending on the network you want to access and click “SAVE”:
Main-Net: https://network.ambrosus.com
Once you have done this, you simply copy paste the network URL into the area entitled “New RPC URL”, pick a name, set the token name to AMB, and set the chainID to “0x414e” — then press save. This connects your MetaMask wallet with the Ambrosus Network.

Step 4. Transfer tokens Binance -> MetaMask
Transfer the AMB ERC20 tokens from the Binance exchange to your address from step 2 in MetaMask you want to swap. You can copy the address easily from MetaMask.

You also need a few dollars of ETH (Ethereum) for transaction fees on this address.
Step 5. MetaMask select Main Ethereum Network
Make sure you have selected “Main Ethereum Network” before proceeding to the next step.

Step 6. Open the bridge
You can now open the bridge via https://bridge.ambrosus.com

Warning! On the second bridge transaction Metamask may miscalculate for an extremely high transaction fee. In this case click the edit/advanced button in the Metamask fee UI.

Enter the Gwei according to the current rate from EthGasStation for example 120 GWEI and set the GAS maximum to 150.000 to get it to work for a reasonable cost.

Please note; The wallet address before and after the swap remains the same, you just need to toggle the network. Your native AMB can now be found under AMB-MAIN net.

The process is now finished and you now have stored your native tokens on MetaMask.
Hardware wallet
Be aware there is no hardware support yet for native AMB so do not transfer them to your Ledger or Trezor etc. Hardware support is on the roadmap. In the meanwhile you can keep them on MetaMask.
Do not transfer native to Binance
Please do not transfer your fresh native AMB to Binance until Binance swap completed. Transferring prior to swap completion will result in a loss of your tokens.
Node running
Since you now have native AMB you can consider to run an AMB Masternode. Below is a guide to get you started. If you decide to run a node after reading this guide, please mention my nickname in the onboarding email (Jerome5) to the tech team in step 6.
For more information on the node and tiers see the community wiki:
